Dr. Caitlyn Carrico is an economist specialised in issues pertaining to international trade, GVCs, industrialisation, economic diversification, and structural transformation. Dr. Carrico has 14 years of experience in developing, leading, and collaborating on policy analysis and research at the U.S. International Trade Commission, the Center for Global Trade Analysis of Purdue University, the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, Wageningen Economic Research of Wageningen University & Research, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
