Biography
Katarzyna Rokosz is an economist with extensive experience in research and innovation policy and development economics. Ms Rokosz currently works for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, where she conducts economic analysis of development policies in the Southern African region. She gained her professional experience as a Policy Officer at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Research and Innovation in Brussels, where she took up numerous roles in innovation policy. She is an economist by training, having completed her studies at Warsaw School of Economics and College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and currently working towards a PhD at Warsaw School of Economics. Katarzyna is a laureate of many scholarships, with study and work placements in the United States, Belgium, Zambia, Poland and France.
