Brief information
Biography
I hold two bachelor degrees and a postgraduate degree from Portugal and the UK, which has helped advance my 15 year career working within United Nations Agencies (UNDP and UNICEF) and private companies. Working specifically in the sector of basic and inclusive education, disability, I have improved outcomes on poverty and vulnerability of children in Guinea-Bissau. As an individual I posses empathetic listening skills as well as persuasive speaker to influence government and advocate for the rights of children. Through a visionary-goal oriented approach, I possess a strategic leadership style, where I can confidently build trusting partnerships. I am fluent in English and Portuguese with good knowledge of Spanish and French, communicating effectively across multicultural teams.
