Biography
Ibrahima is a computer science engineer who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique de Dakar in 2016. He began his humanitarian career as an information management expert consultant with UNHCR in 2019 before joining OCHA ROWCA as an Information Management Officer in December of that year. In 2022, Ibrahima participated in the Humanitarian Coordination Foundation Program (HCFP) to strengthen his coordination skills.
Over the years, Ibrahima has undertaken several field missions, including emergency preparedness and capacity building in Sierra Leone and Côte d'Ivoire. He has also conducted needs assessments and response monitoring, notably leading the last rapid needs assessment mission in The Gambia after the 2022 flash flood.
