20 years plus experience working in technical advisory and convenor role on multi-sectoral multi-hazard climate and disaster risk management and sustainable development in Africa, Arab States, Asia and Europe. Wide exposure to various UN agency approaches working for UNV, UNDP, UNAIDS/WHO, UNISDR/UNDRR and UNICEF, as well as IFRC-hosted project (ProVention Consortium) and bilateral development agencies (SDC, GIZ, FES). Convenor of various global, regional and national networks to enable multi-stakeholder contribution to the complex resilience agenda through risk-informed programming, disaster risk reduction, climate action and conflict mitigation/ social cohesion support.
