Biography
Nakyagaba Consolate Kiyingi is the Risk and Resilience Officer of the Economic Commission for Africa. She is responsible for Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Audit and Compliance Management. She joined the United Nations in July 2021. Prior to joining the United Nations, Consolate was the Head of Risk Management at Kampala Capital City Authority (Government of Uganda).
While at the city Government, she led the establishment of the Risk and Resilience function, the development and operationalization of policies, strategies, guidelines and plans to guide Enterprise Risk Management, Institutional Business Continuity Management, Disaster Risk management including Emergency preparedness and response planning for the City of Kampala. She also worked with the Private sector with banks including Centenary Bank Uganda Limited, and Diamond Trust Bank Group in Risk and Internal Audit Divisions. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration( Heriot-Watt University), Bachelors Degree in Arts( Economics and Social Administration) from Makerere University, A fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountant of UK , Project Management Professional(PMI-US) , Chartered Business Continuity Professional and Certified Enterprise Risk Manager.
