Biography
Irene Onyancha is Chief and Officer-in-Charge of Knowledge Management Services Section at the Publications, Conference & Knowledge Management Division. Prior to joining ECA, she worked as an Information Management Specialist for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United (FAO) in Rome, Italy; World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) in Nairobi, Kenya; and the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute. She is associated with the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T). Ms. Onyancha holds a M.Sc. in information management from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and a BSc in Botany and Zoology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya
