Biography
Lashea Howard-Clinton is a Programme Management Officer at the Market Institutions Section of the Regional Integration & Trade Division. Her areas of expertise include public international law, Competition and IP policy, social policy and areas of Natural Resource management (extractive sector and Blue Economy issues). Prior to joining ECA, she worked in the NGO sector and for Federal Government Contractors in the areas of Labor Law, Procurement, Contract Management and International Development in Washington, DC, United States. Recent publications address topics such as mainstreaming the governance of the extractive sector, Assessing Regional Integration in Africa and Trans-boundary Conflicts in the areas of Natural Resources. Ms. Howard-Clinton holds a LL.M (Masters in Public International Law from Howard University, Washington, DC.
