Biography
David Boko is a Statistician in the Economic, Infrastructure & Agriculture Statistics Section of the African Centre for Statistics. His areas of expertise include economic and social statistics and populations affairs. Prior to joining ECA, he worked as an Associate Statistician for United Nation Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva. His latest papers address topics on gender pay gap across education levels, and poverty reduction impact of active solidarity incomes, among others. Mr. Boko holds a postgraduate diploma of engineering in applied statistics from the National School of Applied Economics of Dakar in Senegal, and has completed M.A. courses in social policies at Université Pierre-Mendès-France, Grenoble, France.
