Biography
Chigozirim Bodart is a Programme Management Officer at the Strategic Planning, Oversight and Results Division. Her areas of expertise are strategic planning, programme management, public policy and policy analysis on Africa's development issues. She has worked as Policy and Coordination Officer in the Office of the Executive Secretary at ECA and as Policy and Coordination Officer at the United Nations Population Fund. Prior to joining the United Nations, she served as a Public Health Manager for the UK National Health Service where she led the development of health strategies and the design and delivery of a portfolio of public health programmes and community initiatives. Prior to joining the health service, she held a number of roles within the academic and civil society sectors which focused on data analysis, project management, advocacy and stakeholder engagement. She has served on the board of charities and has extensive experience in partnership development and working with wide range of global stakeholders including governments, bilateral and multilateral institutions. Ms Bodart holds a master’s degree in public policy and management from the University of Manchester, a master’s degree in public health from Liverpool John Moores University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Medical Electronics and Instrumentation from the University of Liverpool.
